James “Jimmy” Bernard Snyder went to be with our Lord on December 11, 2020. Jimmy was born September 17, 1934 in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. He was raised in Wheeling, WV and served 3 years in the US Army. He was a talented musician and turned his gifting into a career, upon leaving the service. He wrote, recorded, and performed music in both Los Angeles, California and Nashville, Tennessee for over 60 years. He made a name for himself in the country music world and helped his fellow musicians do the same through his mentorship. He was a great friend and had a way of lighting up a room with his wonderful laugh, and easy sense of humor. Jimmy had 8 children, Bill, Jim, John, Jack, Jamie, Kelly, Sean and Dean, twelve grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. He is survived by 7 of his 8 children, as well as his brother Bill, and sisters Paulette and Dee. He was truly one of a kind. He will be dearly missed. There will be a private service held for him in California.
