Thomas James Sladek of Brentwood, Tennessee

December 20, 1941 - August 30, 2019

Thomas James Sladek passed away on August 30, 2019 at the age of 77. Tom was born and raised in Chicago, IL where he was graduated from Morton College. He served his country in the Army for three years while stationed near Paris, France. Shortly after returning to Chicago, he met and married his wife of 51 years, Nancy.

A job with the Maremont Corporation brought his family to Nashville. Here Tom continued his career in automotives with Beck Arnley Worldparts and Integrated Technology Group travelling to numerous foreign cities before retiring.

Tom leaves behind his wife, Nancy Sladek; children, Jennifer Hyams (Todd), Kristen Coller, and Thomas, Jr. (Katie); grandchildren, Phillip and Kristen Hyams, Stella and Fred Coller, Thomas III, Cade, and Gage Sladek; brother, Michael Sladek (Deborah); nieces Ember Fry (John) and Chava WU (Stephen); nephew,
Frank Sladek (Jelena).

A visitation, service and celebration of Tom’s life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on September 20, 2019 at
Holy Family Catholic Church, 9100 Crockett Rd., Brentwood, TN
