Theresa Lee (Dabbs) Tracy

August 4, 1955 - May 21, 2024

Theresa Lee (Dabbs) Tracy, aged 68, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by family and loved ones,  in Manchester TN on May 21, 2024. She was born on August 4, 1955, in Detroit, MI to James and Faye Dabbs.  She loved spending time with her family and friends, fishing, being outdoors, cooking, crocheting, and knitting. She attended Lewis County High School and was of the class of 1973. In the early 90’s she got her CNA license and worked in the medical field until she became disabled and had to leave the field.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents James Warren Dabbs and Cella Faye (Mathis) Dabbs; her husband, Douglas W. Tracy; sisters, Shirley Ann DuPont; Jenny Sue Halbrooks; daughter-in-law, Lesley Crystal Reeves; grandsons, Lesley Shane Reeves; and Austin Elijah Shaffer.

Theresa is survived by partner David House; sisters Glenda (Ricky) Hunt, Waynesboro; Tina (Phillip) Overbey, Hohenwald; sons, James A (Kelly) Reeves; Bobby L Reeves; daughter, Amanda (Todd) Peters; 7 grandchildren, Codey Reeves; Ashley (Josh) Ferrell;  James O. Reeves; Canaan Brothers; Megan Shaffer; Dalton Murch. 9 great-grandchildren, and her 2 dogs that she loved so much, Petey and Shelby.  She also leaves behind many beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

It was Theresa’s wish that she be cremated. Alternative Cremation and Funeral Services is in charge of those services. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
