Teresa Dawn Jakes of Shelbyville, Tennessee

January 22, 1962 - February 28, 2021

Teresa Williams Jakes, born January 22,1962 in Dyer Tennessee to Earl and Barbara Williams went home to be with the Lord on Feb, 28,  2021 after an extended illness . She was a student of Dyer high school and Humboldt High. She had  two children Jamie (Rebecca) Meek of Antioch Tn and Misty (Jennifer)  Kall of Paris, TN. . She had two brothers, Michael (Donna) Williams of Shelbyville, TN, and Earl Williams Jr who preceded her in death in 1968. She had 2 sisters , Pamela (Guion) Lawes of Shelbyville Tn and Kimberely Harrison of Smyrna Tn. She had 5 grandchildren Dylan, Jeremiah,  Emmaleigh, Tristyn and Zachary all of Paris Tn. and numerous nieces and nephews as well as cousins in West Tennessee and Texas . She was preceded in death by her Mother Barbara Clendenin and Father Earl Williams and grandparents Sam and Nellie Locke of Dyer Tennessee and Evelyn and Curry Williams of McKenzie Tennessee and 2 Uncles Rickey and Larry Locke of Dyer Tn. She was a member of Word of Life Family Worship Center of Lavergne Tn. She was a loving mother, sister, and cousin. She loved her family by blood and by Christ. She will be missed. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at Word of Life Family Worship Center located at 555 Old Nashville Highway in Lavergne Tn on March 13 ^th from 11 am till 2:30 pm.
