Skylar A. Treece

May 27, 2000 - November 13, 2021

Skylar is a loving & caring young gentleman with an old soul.  At the age of 21, old-fashioned gentlemen with good manners and morals. He was always willing to help others and he was always a very hard worker and loved to play and joke around. Sky loved his family and friends,  near and far. He truly enjoyed life and was always willing to learn more and willing to go the extra mile for anyone and anything he did. He was involved in so much because he loved life. Skylar was raised in Nolensville, Tennessee. He enjoyed school so much. He had perfect attendance until his senior year. He loved all of his friends. He loved with his whole heart, truly enjoyed joking around, and having fun was everything he did. Skylar built friendships everywhere he went.  As a little boy he wanted to be involved in something all the time. He started with T ball then  Little League Baseball, but found his true passion in Cub Scouts.  He even went to BSA jamborees.  Skylar loved it so much he wanted to stay and join the Boy Scout Troop #298.  He was very involved & had a go getter attitude and a true leader.  He was able to take a trip to Philmont Scout Ranch, New Mexico with his Boy Scout troop and earn his way to Eagle Scout.  He loved the great outdoors, and he even had a fort in the woods behind our home.

Skylar was also involved in youth group at Jenkins C.P.C.. He learned to play the cello and was in wrestling  at Sunset Middle School. He learned to speak French, fencing, larping, boxing, cosplay, modeling, acting, Renaissance.  He loved music so much, in all genres. Skylar did choir for 6 years, ending up in honors choir at Ravenswood High and was able to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York his senior year. JROTC  was key to him for all 4 years and he loved it.  He was a survivalist and had a passion for fencing and ballroom dancing. Skylar's thing was dressing up whether wearing a suit and tie, or uniforms cosplay Renaissance.  He even wore a kilt. He had many talents and was very creative with leather working, wood working,  sewing, drawing, acting, cooking, writing poetry, creating his own tattoos,  and working on cars.  He joined many car clubs. Skylar was a true Renaissance Man.  In 2018 Skylar joined the Air Force.  His goal was to become an instructor in the S.E.R.E. Program.  Upon retirement from the Air Force, he was looking forward to getting involved in welding and becoming a history teacher. His best times were around the table with friends and family or around the bonfire with plenty of food and drink. He will be dearly missed. I want to thank all those who have supported and taught him new skills in life and especially those who have took him under their arms and wings and mentored him. Skylar was very blessed and full of life.
