Shannon Fitzgerald (Lewis) passed away at the age of 52 on December 5, 2019. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Morrow; father, William Doty; step-mother, Madeline Doty; siblings, Sean Lewis, Mohra Johnson, Kevin Lewis, Shane Doty, Amy Carta, Kevin Doty, Caitlin Smith, and Cooper Black; and many adoring nieces and nephews.

Shannon was a gentle soul who never went anywhere without making a friend. He touched the lives of many; he was the kind of person who would truly give anything to a friend in need. His laughter was infectious and filled the whole room. He lived his life on his own terms and encouraged others to do the same. He will be remembered by so many who came to love him. Truly, to know him was to love him.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 14th from 2:00-4:00 at the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in the Pavilion. 9090 Highway 100, Nashville.
