Sandra Ann Tucker

June 10, 1943 - September 13, 2023

Sandra Ann Tucker, age 80 of Nashville passed on September 13, 2023 with the setting sun. She is described by all that knew her as the toughest and the sweetest mother in the world. Preceded in death by husband Ronald Tucker, sister Barbara Hutchison and parents Bruce and Helen Hutchison. She is survived by daughters Rhonda Tucker Oldham (Andrew) & Beth Tucker (Rique), sons Lee Tucker & Richard Tucker (Alicia), sister, Marie Craighead, brother-in-law Scott Tucker and 8 grandchildren that she loved “a bushel and a peck”; Alec, Drew, Duncan, Ian, Aiden, Holston, Silas & Tatum.

A true Native Nashvillian, Sandra was born in Nashville on June 10th, 1943. She attended Hume Fogg and Antioch High School. Sandra was very proud of her many years of employment with Maersk International Shipping. She loved family, the outdoors and her birds.  She always put others before herself, was there if anyone needed to talk and a comforting presence to all.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Sunday October 29th, 2PM at the Buchanan House, 2910 Elm Hill Pike in Nashville, TN. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made on behalf of Sandra to the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
