Ronald Alexander Vojtesak
October 3, 1937 - March 18, 2023
Ronald Alexander Vojtesak was born in Chicago IL on October 3, 1937 to the late Alexander Vojtesak and Mary (Gogola) Vojtesak. The 3rd child of 4, John Vojtesak, Mary Ann ( Vojtesak) Mucha, Ronald Vojtesak, and Cecilia (Vojtesak) Bennett.
At a young age of 19, in 1957, Ron met Patricia Orchowski at a dance in a small suburb of Chicago. I heard it was love at first sight. Ron then married Patricia in July of 1961. To this love they were blessed with 3 children, Sheryl, Janine, and Gary.
Ron joined the military in 1960 to serve our country as a United States Marine. There he became a certified mechanic where he fixed many types of military planes and helicopters. After his service in the military he pursued his career with the airlines. Ron worked for North Central, then relocated to Atlanta GA to work for Southern, Republic, Northwestern, and Delta. He started as a mechanic and then became lead supervisor in his later years, retiring in 2003 and relocating to Arizona.
Ron worked very hard for his family, to make sure they had everything they needed and wanted; from vacations here and abroad, to providing financial support so the children and grandchildren could follow their dreams.
Ron had many hobbies and passions some included: swimming, scuba diving, badminton, tennis, and repairing anything he could get his hands on. He was the Jack of all trades, Master of it All. We all learned a lot from him especially the many benefits of "Duct Tape". Ron also impacted the lives of many others in a positive way. His humor and repair tutorials will never be forgotten.
Ron,aka Pops, will be greatly missed but his memory will still live within each and everyone of us. We are blessed and honored to have known and spent time with him.
