Ronald David Keith

March 14, 1954 - July 29, 2018

Ronald David Keith Sr, known to friends as "Ron" went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 64. A native of Lexington Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father James Keith.
He will be lovingly remembered by his long time companion Paula Smith. He is survived by his mother Jane Wheeler and his children, Ronald David Keith Jr & girlfriend Tina, Kristy Breeden and husband Troy, and Jennifer Talley. Step-son JR Smith & wife Shirley. Brothers Rusty Keith & wife Susan of Lexington and Ricky Keith of Crimora. Grandchildren MaKayla Talley, Bailey Talley, Skylar Talley & Carter Breeden & Katelyn Smith & Hunter Smith. Special young men Kelsey Crews & David Mansfield III.
Ron was a great Dad & Pappy, Instructor at NADC and a great bluegrass pickin musician.
A celebration of life will be held at Madison Funeral Home, 219 East Old Hickory Blvd. Nashville, TN on July 31, 2018 from 5-8. Friends are welcome to bring their instruments and play in honor of Ron. Casual attire is also welcome in his honor.
