He was proceeded in death by his wife Patsy Cantrell and his parents Annabelle and Melvin Cantrell. He is survived by his brother Shelton (Deborah) Cantrell, sisters Wilma (Edward) Beckman and Sharon (John) Shane, children Ronnie Cantrell, Robbie (Kim) Cantrell, Kim Elliott, Ricky Sanders along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Toots loved his family and always enjoyed meeting new people. He never met a stranger. He was always very active and always loved life to the fullest. On any given day he was likely to take a long country side drive just to enjoy the scenery and was always on the lookout for new places to eat. He loved animals and use to raise goats and break horses. He loved to dance and had an infectious smile. He will be greatly missed.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday March 18, 2023 at The Lord's Friendly Mission Church located at 915 B Old Hickory Blvd, Madison TN 37115 from 1-3pm.

His ashes will be buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on or around his birthday in August of this year.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to The Lord's Friendly Mission Church.
