Roger Dean Stockdale of Old Hickory, Tennessee

August 27, 1959 - January 17, 2020

On Friday, January 17,2020, Roger Stockdale, loving husband and father of three, passed
away at the age of 60.

Roger was born on August 27, 1959, in Detriot, MI, to Joseph Stockdale and Marie
(Bennett-Stockdale) Zilli. He graduated from Utica High School in 1978. He worked in the
welding industry for 34 years. On January 4, 1980, he married Lynette Marie Jaremba. They
raised two sons, Joel and Nicholas, and one daughter, Brittany.

Roger had a passion for the great outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish. He loved to go
camping and spend time gardening. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his
compassionate spirit.

Roger was preceded in death by his father, Joseph, and his brother, Donald. He is survived
by his mother, Marie, his sister, Brenda, his wife, Lynn, his three children, Joel, Nick, and
Brittany, his two granddaughters, Aaliyah and Alivia, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the family home, Saturday, January 25, at 1pm. The
address is 1009 Debow st. Old Hickory, TN 37138. Flowers and condolences can be sent to this
address as well. There is a go fund me page in Roger's name to help the family through this
difficult time. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and kind
gestures. Roger will be greatly missed.
