Robert A. Durden

February 20, 1937 - April 1, 2016

Robert A. "Bobby" Durden, 79, of Greenville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at 12:30 am at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville from an extended illness. He was a native of Glennville, Georgia for many years before relocating to Kentucky. He was a United States Army Veteran and was a co-manager for a theater in Florida for many years. Bobby loved the outdoors, enjoyed mowing, four wheeling, water, and the beach. Anything to do with the outdoors, he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda Waters Durden of Greenville, KY; children, Detra Gaston of Glennville, GA, Trina Cotoia (Nick) of Spring Hill, TN, Kris Yeomans (Nicole) of Memphis, TN, Ansley Ammons of Spring Hill, TN, and Todd, Eric, and Amy Durden of Wachula, FL; five (5) grandchildren; half-sister, Rosemary Richards; special friends, Justin Hamilton and Ami E. Lee; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Brannon-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville, from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.Military graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, GA with Pastor John Galyen officiating.
Alternative Cremation and Funeral Service of Franklin, TN and Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville, GA are in charge of all arrangements.
