Rita Thompsie Brashear

July 25, 1943 - October 30, 2017

Rita T. Brashear, age 74, of Franklin, TN passed away on October 30th 2017 of cancer. She was a retired Banker and am avid Kentucky Basketball fan. She was a devoted wife and proud mother and grandmother. Rita enjoyed travel, all sports especially the Kentucky Wildcats, and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Willis Brashear. Survived by daughters; DiAnna (Terry) Hankins and Rebecca (Edward) Lewis, and grandchildren; BreAnna Hankins and Braylen Lewis. Also survived by brother; Samuel (Bernice) Sato and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; Samuel and Leola Sato.
Graveside services will be held at the Irene and Eli Brashear Family Cemetery at Left Fork Maces Creek on November 18th at 1pm.
