Richard Bernard Waldeck

March 11, 1953 - February 24, 2019

Rick Waldeck passed away at the age of 65 on 2-24-2019. He battled Parkinson's disease for so many years. He was so strong, the strongest person we knew. He fought so hard all the way to the end. His entire family is so proud of his strength and fight. He was loved by his family and friends. He was a loving husband, a great father and an amazing grandfather. He was able to become a great grandfather with his beautiful grandson, Henry. His wife Linda cared for him and loved him through his entire life. His children Mandy, Craig and Scott were so grateful to be blessed with such a wonderful father. His grandson Timmy loved his grandfather dearly and his granddaughters, Ashley, Amber, and Katie loved any chance to spend with their grandfather. He made so many friends at Brookdale and cherished all the memories he was able to make with them. Rick is survived in death by his loving spouse Linda Waldeck, his three children, Manda (David) Verkuyl, Craig (Angela) Waldeck, and Scott Waldeck & Michelle Weenum. He was also blessed with four grandchildren, Timothy Brandt, Ashley Wentzloff, Amber Wentzloff, and Katherine Wentzloff. He was again blessed with a great grandson Henry Wentzloff. His sister Anne (William) Hickok and his brother John Waldeck. Rick will be missed by everyone because anyone that met him couldn't help but like him.
We will miss you Rick, Dad, and Grandpa.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday February 28th at 2:00 pm at Brookdale in Franklin, TN.
