Ralph Howard Maxson

September 1, 1927 - October 16, 2018

R.H. Maxson III (Howard), age 91, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2018 at home after a short illness. He was surrounded by family.
He was born on September 1, 1927 in Bolivar, Tennessee. He was well-loved by family and friends alike.
He was a member and past Master of the Hiram Masonic Lodge #7 of the Free Masons in Franklin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, R.H. Maxson Jr. and Evelyn Nelms Maxson; his wife, Helen; his sister, Nell Clark; and his daughter, Evelyn Campbell. Survivors include his children, Sheryl Howell, Ralph Maxson IV (Lisa), Carole Maxson; and grandchildren, Kenny Campbell (Angela), Walker Campbell, Amy Howell, Kyle Maxson, Alison Martinez (Luis), Kelly Maxson; as well as great grandchildren, Evie Grace Campbell, Li Martinez, Riley Martinez; and many nieces and nephews.
His wife, Helen, was the love of his life for 57 years and their love will continue to be an inspiration to many for years to come.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 19, 2018 at Forest Hills United Methodist Church beginning at 9 am with the funeral following at 10:30.
