Peggy Lynn Swauger, age 64 of Murfreesboro, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 4, 2020.
She is survived by her daughters, Allison Swauger and Sara Wayne, son in law Robert Wayne; granddaughters, Isabel and Lilian Wayne; brother, Thomas Suter and wife Debbie; and mother, June Suter. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Gregory Swauger; brother William "Billy" Suter; and father James Suter.
Peggy was born June 15, 1955 in Leesburg, Virginia. She spent her professional career as a devoted educator for Murfreesboro City Schools where she served as an elementary school teacher. She had a passion for reading and learning. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends including her beloved sister in law, Karen Bordine. Peggy loved playing with her granddaughters, listening to music, and caring for her pet cat, Sweetie Pie.
She had an amazing sense of humor and brought joy to all who had the opportunity to be in her presence. Peggy will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
A celebration of Peggy’s life is being held Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 12 noon, in the Community Room at The Pointe At Eastdale located at 2011 Bradyville Pike Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Dress attire is casual.
