We honor the life that was given to us by God.
Patricia A. Garrison, 90, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on February 20, 2021. From the time she was a child she walked with Him, and He walked with her to the end.
Patricia (“Pat”) was born to Chauncey Neubeck, Sr. and Marjorie Simpson Neubeck on July 19, 1930. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill J. Garrison, and by her four brothers: Chauncey, Donald, Richard and Robert. She leaves four children: Jon (Nancy) Garrison, Kathy (Walter) Wang, Elizabeth (David) Willis, and Jeanne Garrison. She also is survived by seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. All of her descendants eagerly anticipate that great reunion with her in heaven where she will greet us not as “mom” or “grandma” but as a sister in the Lord.
Pat leaves behind a strong Christian witness! She boldly proclaimed that Jesus died for her sins and rose again; she accepted Him as her Lord and Savior; and she was at peace as she faced death, knowing that her name was written in the “Lamb’s Book of Life” (Revelation 13: 8, 20: 12 )!
As a young mother, Pat was faithful in taking her young children to church year after year. As a result, all four of her children and (subsequently) her grandchildren received salvation and the Holy Spirit. She was most proud of this loving, eternal legacy.
A verse that sums up her lifelong evangelistic fervor is 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
