Michael Burton Ashburn

Michael Ashburn, 58, died at his home surrounded by his family in Christiana, TN on May 11, 2017. Born June 14, 1958, he was the son of the late Burton Jr. Ashburn and Sylvia Larkin Ashburn Ritchey, step-son of Curtis Ritchey of Lawrenceburg. He worked as a lifelong carpenter. He loved his family and the Lord. He never met a stranger that he would not give a helping hand to regardless of the situation. He is survived by his 3 sons, Michael Burton Ashburn II (Trina), Bilbert Lee Ashburn (Talisha) both of TN, Zachary Ross Ashburn (fiance' Heather Brittian) of Lawrenceburg, KY; five grandchildren, Graham, Kaylee, Bryce, Grayson, and Alayna, all of TN; his soul mate Pam Thompson of TN; 3 brothers, Jim Ashburn (Mary), John Ashburn (fiance' Jill Roy), Steve Ashburn (Alice) and a sister, Linda Jo Bates (Bill). Friend of 43 years Kathy Kelton. He was also preceded in death by grand-daughter, Avery Grace Ashburn.
Services will be held at Grace Assembly of God 2999 John Bragg Hwy, Woodbury, TN 37190 with visitation from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm followed by memorial service at 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 3.
