Marvin Louis Barr, Jr, 64, of Franklin TN, after a courageous battle with cancer, left this world on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. He was born in Cleveland, Mississippi on April 5, 1954 to Marvin Louis Barr, Sr and Annie Estell Collier. He Graduated from Georgia Military College in 1974. He served in the Army as a Battery Commander of a Field Artillery Battery at Fort Sill, OK. He worked as a PC Specialist and System Administrator. He loved his church and choir family deeply. Cherished son to Annie Estell Walsh (Collier), Loving Father to Kathryn Christina Stovall (Barr) (Michael Stovall), and Stepson James Franklin Nix. Grand-daddy to seven. Rebekah (25), Steven (21), David (16), Elijah (14), Samuel (11), Thomas (7), and Adelia (6 Months). Brother to Thomas Barr and Nancy Jordan. Services will be held at Franklin First UMC on Saturday December 8, 2018. Family visitation at 11 am with services to follow at noon. His spirit, humor, and compassion - will live long and prosper in all our hearts.
