Manoj Shah of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee

June 29, 1951 - September 30, 2020

Manoj Shah, of Mount Juliet, TN passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 30th after a brief battle with cancer. He was 69 years of age.

Manoj is survived by his wife of 43 years, Bhavna Shah. Devoted father of Seema White and her husband Roger of Woburn, MA and Ami Hobgood and her husband Seth of Franklin, TN. Dear brother of Pradip Shah (PA), Nirupama Shah (NJ), Shailesh Shah (MO), Janak Shah (MO) and Mihir Shah (NJ). Loving grandfather of Nathan White and Asha Hobgood. Also survived by many close sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Manoj was born on June 29, 1951 in the small village of Kadod, India. He immigrated to the United States in the early 1970s to pursue higher education. After graduating from Worcester Polytechnic Institute he worked for various software companies as a Senior Engineer over the years. He was a highly respected colleague by his peers.

Manoj and his wife enjoyed many different travel excursions around the world including Thailand, China, Germany, Japan, and Costa Rica.  He dedicated much of his time to taking care of his dearest companion, Krish, an adorable Yorkshire Terrier.

Manoj was a role model for many. He was the epitome of calm, intelligence, success and dignity. His kind, gentle and soft-spoken nature will be lovingly remembered.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we invite relatives only, please, to attend Manoj’s funeral services on Tuesday, October 6 ^th at 11:30 AM in the Highland Hills Funeral Home and Crematory, 2422 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207.  Masks are required to enter the funeral home, along with strict adherence to social distancing.
