Lovella Patton Spradlin of Franklin, Tennessee

October 19, 1931 - December 31, 2020

Age 89 of Franklin, TN, Lovella passed away at home peacefully on December 31, 2020. Lovella was born in 1931 in Glo, KY, to Ishmael William and Zetta Bowe Patton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pershing Spradlin and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Ann Spradlin; her son, John-Mark Spradlin and his wife, Melissa; grandchildren Caroline Spradlin Sexton and her husband Spencer Sexton, and Jonathan Spradlin.

Lovella was dedicated to her children, grandchildren, churches and communities. She loved being a wife, mother, homemaker, as well as reading and volunteering and had a special gift for hospitality. She lived in Louisville, KY, for many years, where she and her husband were very involved with their church and local education. After living in Louisville, they moved to Lubbock, TX, where they continued their devotion to the Church of Christ and their family. She spent her remaining years in Franklin, TN, where she and her spouse were members of Fourth Avenue Church of Christ and were close to their immediate family members.
