Passed at home with loving family at 9:33 am on Wednesday 7/31/2019.
Born and raised in Memphis, TN.
Graduated from Christian Brothers High School in Memphis, TN. 1965
Memphis State Graduate of Engineering. 1969
Worked for St. Paul Insurance 1970 and General Accident until retirement as risk manager. Worked for Trans America and city of Memphis 1975-1977.
Received award for appreciation for 33 years of outstanding dedication and service to the Middle Tennessee Chapter of ASSP's driver safety school.
Only son of Louis Frederick Pagel II, passed 1978 and Emma Lorraine Pagel, passed in 2008.
Survived by wife, Sandra Case Pagel, of 39 years and 4 children: Philip Pagel 37, Emily Diane Pagel 33, Stacey (Pagel) Tortorella 31 and Sarah Pagel 31.
Philip Pagel and his wife Emily (Bradley) Pagel married 2012 and have 2 children: Son, William age 3 and daughter, Emma 10 months.
Stacey Tortorella and her husband Christopher Tortorella married 5 years and have one daughter Halley age 4.
Was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville, TN.
Married in Memphis, TN in 1980 to Sandra Case.
Funeral arranged for 10 am on 7-9-2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville, TN.
Burial to proceed after service at Calvary Cemetery in Nashville, TN.
Sadly missed by friends and family.
Was known for his humor, warm personality and friendly smile.
