February 28, 1937 - October 7, 2021

Lois Ann Ractliffe Brabson (née Greenfield) was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1937. She attended college in Cincinnati, and married Ted Ractliffe in 1958. They moved to Louisville, Ky. and then Nashville, Tenn. and were married until his death in 1982. She remarried Charlie McKellar, and for the last 20 years has been married to Frank Brabson.

Lois worked at Dye Van Mol & Lawrence in Nashville for more than 20 years and was also very active in her churches, St. Bartholomew's and Church of the Redeemer. She also volunteered with Family Affair Ministries and at St. Luke's Thrift Store.

She is survived by her husband, Frank Brabson, her children, Scott Ractliffe (Mary Ellen Hill Ractliffe) and Laura Lee Moseley (Glen Moseley), and five grandchildren, Lindsey Lee Pakula, Matt Ractliffe, Garner Lee, Hunter Ractliffe and Rachel Lee Codington. She also has six great grandchildren, Eveline Codington, Addie Codington, Teddy Pakula, Luke Codington, Asher Codington, and George Pakula.

She will be remembered for her huge, bright smile, infectious laugh, and the welcoming kindness she extended to friends and strangers, alike.
