Laurie Hendrix is preceded in death by her soulmate of 31 years, Alton "Bubba" Hendrix, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Rebekkah Miranda Hendrix, and her mother, Betty Hokanson (IL), along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Laurie had her own catering company for many years and worked with Wilson County Schools as a pre-school teacher and cafeteria cook.
A Memorial Service will be held September 16. Time and place to be announced. You can contact her daughter or Debbie McDowell Oberdorf for deatils closer to the date. Her ashes will be scattered in her and her family's favorite place, Destin, Florida, on her birthday.
