Ken Donald "Butch" Ladwig, Jr.

October 28, 1964 - September 10, 2023

Kenneth Donald “Butch” Ladwig, Jr. 58, of Franklin TN. passed away on Sept. 10, 2023. He was born in Door County Wisconsin on Oct. 28, 1964. Ken served his country by joining the Army in 1981 where he was an E6 Staff Sergeant and an 91A, M1 Abrams Systems Maintainer.   Ken developed his love of repair and maintenance during his six years of service. He worked as part the Greater Nashville Apartment Association for the past 27 years.

He is survived by his wife, Shannon Ladwig and daughter, Kailee Paige Ladwig of Franklin. Also surviving are his mother, Sally Ladwig of Kewaunee, Wisconsin, as well as his sisters, Cheryl Schneider, and Dawn Estrada of Algoma, Wisconsin. Ken is survived by a host of many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Donald Ladwig, Sr. He was an avid fan of Green Bay Packers football and the outdoors, he enjoyed spending time entertaining family and friends. Ken will always be remembered for his ability to selflessly help others.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

A celebration of life will be held at the Jim Warren Park (Pond) 705 Boyd Mill Avenue, Franklin, TN on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 with family and friends visitation held one hour prior, from 10:00- 11:00. As a tribute to his favorite time of year, if you feel led, we would invite you to celebrate his life by wearing your favorite football jersey to honor his memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts of sympathy be made toward his daughter’s continuing education.
