Judy Anne Atkins aka Gregore, Grams, Grandma - October 13, 1947 - December 19, 2017
We will have a small private family memorial for Judy this information will be sent personally.
Judy passed away peacefully in her home in Ethridge TN with her family at her bedside. Since the passing of her father William Connell, there was never a day gone by that she didn't miss him, and knowing that she is once again with him brings peace during this time.
She was the most amazing mother that any child could hope for, she was a true class act, however even more she was a class act A+ - #1 Grandmother. There was absolutely NOTHING in this world that meant more to her then them.
Judy had 2 children, daughter Leeanne (Atkins) Park of Ethridge, TN and son William Michael Atkins of North Port, FL. However, and more importantly the true loves in her life her 4 beautiful grandchildren. Summer Park & Wade Park of Ethridge, TN and Courtney Atkins & Christopher Atkins of North Port, FL.
Judy was divorced and continued to maintain an unbreakable bond with Sam Atkins and his life partner Kathy Giarraputo.
Judy was blessed to be surrounded by some absolutely awesome friends in life and forever, as said before she had a bond with Kathy Giarraputo from childhood and also with Missy Smith her sister in law, which will continue into the next life. These are bonds that were never broken no matter the obstacles that entered their lives, nothing and no one would end the friendship they maintained here on earth.
But her one friend Bonnie Bryant of New Jersey was the most important friend in her life from the time they were in diapers and will continue throughout eternity long after they are reunited in heaven.
To know her was to love her and her list of friends is far too long to list.
Throughout her career, Judy was a scrub nurse an office nurse and a scorer at the world-famous Islip Speedway in Long Island, New York, at all her jobs she made lifelong friends.
There are so many life long stories of fun that each person that knew her had and we would love for you to share some of your memories of her with us.
This woman will be loved and missed immensely by so many.
