John Otha Parton of Antioch, Tennessee

March 20, 1957 - June 5, 2020

John Otha Parton, 63, of Antioch, Tennessee, passed away on June 5, 2020 peacefully at his home. Cremation will be conducted by Alternative Cremation in Frankiln, Tennessee. There will not be any funeral service, however there will be a Celebration of Life at their home on Saturday, June 13, 2020 beginning at 2 pm. All friends and family are invited.

John was born in Winchester, Kentucky to Marjorie Patrick Parton and James Otha Parton on March 20, 1957. He graduated from George Rogers Clark High School and attended Western Kentucky University. He married Kelly Sue Duncan on September 27, 2003 in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He worked for Kroger for over 12 years. He was diagnosed with cancer in February, 2020.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie Patrick and James Otha Parton of Winchester, Kentucky, and his sister, Wanda Jo Parton of Venice, California.

John is survived by his wife, Kelly Duncan Parton and his son, Jacob Aaron Parton of Antioch, Tennessee; his stepson, Bradley Thomas Duncan and his wife Victoria Snoddy Duncan of Greeley, Colorado; his sister, Linda Marcum, and his nephew, Patrick Marcum of Winchester, Kentucky.
