John Albert Leo of Nashville, Tennessee

May 5, 1945 - December 6, 2021

John Albert Leo went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2021.  He was born on May 5, 1945 in the Bronx, New York.  After his service in the United States Navy, John moved to Atlanta, GA to be closer to his dear brother, Fred Leo.  There, he met his wife, Julia (Kathy) Towles Leo.  After a three-month courtship, they married on November 15, 1968.  John and Kathy were married for 53 years.  John is survived by his wife, three children, Christina, Jessica, and Vinny, daughter-in-law, Maggie, two grandchildren, Madeleine and Viva, his beloved sister, Elena Leo Cuoco and her family, and his brother Fred’s family.

John was a true patriot with an unwavering sense of love and respect for America.  He was an intelligent, well-read, and engaging man.  His strong sense of family honor was balanced by his loving heart, sincere passion, and fun sense of humor.  He loved his family dearly and was able to voice that love again before he passed.  While his family is thankful he is resting peacefully, John will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service for John Leo will be held at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church on January 8 at 1:30pm.  More information about his celebration will be provided by the family soon.
