John N Denne, Jr. , 55, of Franklin passed away Thursday August 6, 2020 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on November 4, 1964 to John N Denne and Carol Jean Whaley Denne.
John graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Penn State University in 1986 and an MBA from Penn State University in 1994. He went to work for Hercules in Frostburg, MD as a Research and Development Engineer and a Test Engineer. John was an integral part in the novel rocket projectile program ultimately writing the sop for the assembly of rocket motors. While working on his MBA, John was scouted by Ford Motor Corp in Detroit and he accepted a job upon completion of his MBA. John held positions as both a Manufacturing Engineer and Quality Engineer. While working at Ford, he developed a curiosity for computers. He graduated from Washtenaw Community College in 2005 with a certificate in Computer Technology, Programming & Security. John was most recently employed Husky Truss & Building Supply and worked in the IT division.
John was a die hard Penn State football fan, had a passion for movies, a soft heart for animals, relished in anything space related, enjoyed history, museums and reading.
He was preceded in death by his father, John N Denne, step-mother Katherine Denne, mother, Carole Jean Whaley Denne, as well as his brother, Timothy Denne, and grandparents.
He is survived by his sisters, Christine Denne, Michelle (Denne) Morelli and brother in law Jeff Morelli of Greensburg, Pa.; long time friend Anca (Pop) Charles and Jason Charles; furry friend, Lucy as well as numerous fur nephews and nieces; long time high school friend and college roommate Todd Raines, aunts and an uncle as well as cousins all residing in Pittsburgh, Pa.
