Gregory Allen Polman of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee

April 13, 1956 - January 9, 2023

Gregory Allen Polman died at the age of 66, January 9th, 2023 A beloved father to Misty (JJ) Lucas and grandfather to Britnie McDannald ,Pamela Lankford, Dylan (Ashley) Hagewwod Troy SmIth  & Henry Lucas still also considered Bradley (Shanna) McDannald and Mitch (Whitney) McDannald his as well , great grands Wynter, Owen, Theia, Ronan & Duke honorary grands Tori & Joanna, honorary great grands Jurias and Lonni. Predeceased by his wife Nancy, son Ricky Lucy and Parents Ray and Marilyn Polman , survived by siblings Terry (Debbie) Polman, Chris (Susie) Polman and Donna (John) Brackin and nieces and nephews.

Greg lovingly known as Papa or Geggy Punkin a graduate of MTSU with 3 degrees. One of those degrees being in Aerospace, Greg wanted to be a pilot but due to poor eyesight  settled on a long career in purchasing and eventually selling heavy duty truck parts.  Greg was a loyal and hard worker.   In his younger years was an active participant in the Warrior football and Rotary Baseball leagues acting as league president and/or a coach.  In his later years enjoyed weekend fishing with his brother Chris. Second to his love for his family was his love for The Fighting Irish.   Greg was never scared to take on new opportunities and did everything with honesty and integrity. He had very strong values and was well liked by everyone, mostly due to his positive energy and loving heart. Greg had incredible patience, and always made time to help others.

His legacy will carry on forever reminding us that we control our attitudes and always to be kind and true.   To know him was to love him.
