Gordon Browning Terry, Jr. of White House, Tennessee

Gordon Browning Terry, JR age 61 of Whitehouse, TN passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, peacefully at Hendersonville Hospital. Celebration of Life will be at Long Hollow Baptist Church June 1, 2024. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00, and in honor of JR the celebration service will be at 1:00 in the chapel.   Refreshments and a time to share memories will immediately follow at Hendersonville Volunteer Fire Station 3199 Long Hollow Pike.

Mr. Terry was born January 19, 1963, to the (late) Gordon B. Terry and Deloris Large Terry.  In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by grandparents James Shirley (Ruth) Large and Herbert (Eula) Terry, Uncles Gene Large, George Terry, Weymen Terry, and Raymond (Cotton)Terry. He is survived by wife of 42 years, Pam Scruggs Terry of White House, daughter Jennifer (Greg) Celentano of Maryville, son Danny Terry of Hendersonville, sister Gidget (Tony) Murray of Gallatin and sister Debbie (Tom) White of Forth Worth Tx, 5 grandchildren Maddox, Camille, Rowan, August, and Della and several nieces and nephews.

Jr grew up in Gallatin and remained in Tn where he raised his children and enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing guitars, working on small engines, hanging out with friends and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
