Gloria James Bennett of Nashville, Tennessee

Gloria James Bennett, age 95, died on March 1, 2021 in Nashville, TN.  Born July 11, 1925 in Jersey City, NJ.  She was a resident of Atlanta  from 1966 to 2012 when she moved to Nashville,Tn where she resided until her passing.

Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Bennett.  She was a longtime member of Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church and a 20 year volunteer with Northside Hospital in Atlanta.  She also delivered meals on wheels for a number of years .

Survivors include son, Bruce E. Bennett of Nashville, TN; daughter, Diane Bennett Bishop; son-in-law, Skip Bishop; three grandchildren, Alice Bernadette Bishop, Miles Bishop, and Elizabeth Bishop King (Andy King): and  great grandchildren Abner Vance King & Camilla Rye King of Nashville Tennessee.

Also surviving are niece, Julie Clancy; two nephews Robert B. Diffin III of Dallas Texas and Peter Diffin (Lynn Hosking) and their two sons, Samuel and Ethan Diffin of Decatur, GA
