Gloria Velnona Abbott, age 76 of Jamestown, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, December 30 ^th , 2021.  She was born on June 7th, 1945 in Fentress County, Tennessee.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter Jewell R. Watson and partner Brian, son Rease E. Watson and wife Kristy, grandchildren Abbigail, Zackary, Emily, Kiley and Andrew, brother Gilbert Steve Brown and partner Jeanne, sisters Linda Sue Cooper and husband Clinton, Audrey Marie Copeland, and Deborah Rena Owens, and a host of many beloved nieces and nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Rease A. (Stollie) Watson, second husband Al Eugene Abbott, parents Walter Gilbert Brown and Lillian Jewell (Asberry) Brown, brothers James Walter Brown wife Kathleen, Roy Wallace Brown and Johnny Dean Brown, sisters Wanda Jane Brown, Shelby Jean Layne and husband William Paul, brother-in-law Kenneth Copeland.

Honoring her wishes, a private family-only Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
