Gertha Rhea Elms

Gertha Rhea McCormick Elms, age 72, lost her battle with cancer August 20, 2016. She is survived by her daughters, Rae Schuh (Tim) of Rolla, MO, and Karen Ham (Matt) of Franklin, TN, and grandchildren, Amber, Ashleigh, and Jonathan Schuh, and Joey and Ryan Ham. Also siblings Bea Preston, Elliott McCormick (Genevieve), Nelda Taylor, Willie McCormick (Linda), Betty Tyler, Joyce Dennison (Al), and Charles McCormick (Joyce) and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She is now joined with mother Birdie McCormick, sister Della Pearl, and brothers-in-law Buck Preston, Bill Taylor, Bill Tyler, and Herman Pearl.
A Celebration of her Life will be planned at a later date and plans will be shared when they are available.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests consideration of a donation in Gertha's memory be given to one of the following non-profit organizations which provided support when she needed it.
