Frederick Thomas Buckley

October 25, 1945 - January 11, 2019

On Friday, January 11, 2019 Fred T. Buckley Jr., father of three children, passed away at the age of 73. Fred was born on October 25th, 1945 in Nashville, TN to Fred and Katherine Buckley. Fred raised two sons, Marcus and Fred III and a daughter, Katherine.
Fred was preceded in death by his father, Fred Sr., his mother, Katherine, his sister Beth, and his son Marcus. He is survived by his two children, Fred III and Katherine, his daughter-in-law Stacy, his son-in-law, Brett, his brother, Don, his brother-in-law, Billy, and his grandson Jacob. Fred lived a simple life. He never knew a stranger, had a love for life, being outdoors, and was always quick to lend a helping hand.
Visitation with the family will be held at the River Plantation Clubhouse on Friday, January 18th, 2019 at 224 Plantation Ct. Nashville, TN 37221 at 11 o'clock a.m. to be followed by a service at 1 o'clock p.m. The family is requesting donations be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters at https://mentorakid.org/donate-form/ in lieu of flowers. Fred volunteered with this organization for many years.
