Edmond B. Arnold of Brentwood, Tennessee

February 25, 1931 - July 30, 2021

Edmond (Eddy) B. Arnold, 90, Brentwood TN passed away on Friday July 30, 2021.   Eddy was a man of deep faith, beloved by family and friends.  He is remembered for his smile and outgoing demeanor, and his dedication to his family.  Eddy was born in 1931 in Kittrell, TN, growing up in Murfreesboro.  He graduated from Lipscomb College with graduate studies in Education at MTSU.  He was a retired educator and administrator with both the State of TN and Metro Nashville Public school systems, where he had over 30 years of service.  Most students knew him from time as administrator and instructor of Driver’s Education for MNPS.  He also enjoyed coaching and was a preacher at Old Jefferson Church of Christ in his early career.  He loved tennis, playing into his 80’s.  Eddy was a staunch Vanderbilt fan and loved watching the Tennessee Titans. He was an active member of Otter Creek Church while living in Nashville TN and returned to his beloved Old Jefferson Church during retirement.

A remembrance celebration and time of sharing stories will be held at Old Jefferson Church of Christ, Smyrna, TN, Thursday August 5, 2021, at 6 pm.  Visitation will be from 4-6.  Bring a story or memory to share during the service.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Old Jefferson Church of Christ, Smyrna TN, https://ojcoc.org .
