Douglas Edward Smithson

Douglas Edward Smithson ,(Eddie) age 71 passed away September 17 2016 surrounded by his children and family .
He is the son of the late Dorris and Helen Smithson. He lived most of his life in Nashville and Woodbury TN, attended and graduated from Antioch High School. He proudly served in the National Guard in his younger years, and in his later years served our Country again from home spending endless hours to be informed so he could be a strong voice defending our Constitution and our American values.
He loved the Lord. He loved his family. He loved our country.
He is survived by his children JoWanna Virginia Smithson Wyse, Gerald Edward Smithson,(Jerry), Jeffrey Michael Smithson , Victor Edward Hinson Smithson, grandchildren Kari Jena Smithson Carter, Caitlyn Jade Smithson, Philip Edward Duckett, and great grandson Liam Dean Carter.
Memorial Service will be held at 330pm Saturday October 08 at The Iconium Church of Christ, 2098 Iconium Rd Woodbury Tn ,3719
