Dora Alice Jones

November 11, 1957 - June 22, 2018

Dora A. Jones, 60, of Pulaski, TN, passed away peacefully at home Friday, June 22, 2018 after a lengthy illness. She was born and reared in Jacksonville, FL. As a young adult, Dora moved to Savannah, GA where she lived and worked. It was in Savannah where she met Lee Jones. Dora and Lee married in 1995, and shortly after their marriage moved to Pulaski. She was the bookkeeper at Bi-Lo Grocery's Pulaski and Lawrenceville stores for a number of years.
Dora was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Sadie Hutcheson, and brother, Ronnie. Survivors include her husband, Howard L. (Lee) Jones, and two brothers, Eddie (Nat) Hutcheson of York, PA, and Lennie Hutcheson of Savannah, GA. She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Charlie and Gladys Jones of Huntsville, AL; a brother-in-law, Chuck Jones, and his wife, Jennifer, and their children, Thompson and Caroline, of Mountain Brook, AL.

A celebration of Dora's life will be held on Sunday, July 15th at Trinity United Methodist Church, 2005 Vales Mill Road, Pulaski, TN 38478 at 3 p.m. with a dinner to follow.
