Don L. “Pop” Redmon

Don died at his home peacefully on November 2, 2020 surrounded by his family.
Don was born in Nashville, Tennessee to Leon and Mae Redmon.
He graduated from Hume Fogg High School in 1955 and attended Vanderbilt University.
For most of his adult life he was an entrepreneur in many fields including Boat Tops and Windshields, Plastics, Musical Instrument Accessories, Steel Stair and Handrails and several other ventures. Don retired in 1999 after several years in Management at Textron Aerostructures.
To him, his greatest accomplishment was his marriage of 65 years to Joey and being a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Jo “Joey” Redmon, his son Tony Redmon (Pat), his daughter Terri Roden Gentry (John), 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his daughter Lori Redmon Vanhooser.
A memorial celebrating his life will be scheduled later.
