David Ronald Pfister 10/13/1939-4/1/2017
Dave left this earth to paint the sky on the first day of April 2017.
He is preceeded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Pfister (Indiana), his wife, Camille Pfister, and son's John and Daniel.
He is survived by his youngest son, Brian Todd Pfister, his Granddaughter, Kaitlyn Camille Pfister, his sister, Sharon Brandt (Herman),Nieces, Paula & Kristen, Nephew Randy (Indiana) and dear friend, Lia Kelingos.
Dave, an Indiana native, served in The US Navy, stationed in Washington DC, where he met his wife, Camille. They later moved to Nashville where they raised their family.
Dave is well known in The Nashville community as an Artist. He went to The Harris School of Art in Nashville, TN in the 1950's, where he designed the original Rotier's logo, still on their sign today. He was a member of The Blueberry Afternoon Club and Studio Six.
Dave was also in the advertising business as a Creative Director for Harmon & Crook and Ruben & Smith spanning a 20+ year career. After retirement, Dave designed greeting cards for Heartfelt Greeting Cards in Fairview, Tn and spent his days working at Sunshine Grocery and Wild Oat's on Belmont.
Dave will be remembered by all that knew and Loved him as a Free Spirit, with a whimsical look on life, a charming wit with a boisterous laugh and all the beauty of his imagination he shared with everyone through his watercolor's, and his genuine spirit.
In lieu of flower's, donations in memory of David R. Pfister to be made to Alive Hospice.
