Darrel Ray Nelson of Lebanon, Tennessee

July 10, 1953 - September 30, 2021

Darrel Nelson, 68, of Lebanon, Tn passed away on September 30 ^th , 2021 after a lengthy battle with a chronic illness.  He was born July 10 ^th , 1953 to Ray and Hazelle Nelson in Breckenridge Mn.  Darrel graduated high school in Estelline SD in 1971. He then married Joyce Vander Wal in 1972. He joined the United States Air Force. Darrel remarried in 1979, to Lori Guderian, and was married for 42 years. Darrel enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. Darrel is survived by his wife Lori, (2) children, Michelle Peterson of Flandreau, SD, and son Mike Nelson of Lebanon, Tn, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way, 2 sisters Betty Mae Even and Dorothy Fiegen and 1 brother Robert Nelson. Darrel has been preceded in death by father Ray Nelson, his mother Hazelle Nelson, Brother Douglas Nelson and Sister Jinelle Craig.

There will be no funeral or memorial services per Darrels wishes.
