Dana Allison Ballou was born in Nashville, TN on December 3, 1951 and passed this life on July 31, 2020 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Helen Ballou of Tullahoma, TN and her dear friend Cindy Campbell of North Carolina. Dana grew up in Tullahoma and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Her degree in marketing served as a springboard for her enormous creative talents which she used throughout her career before her retirement.

Dana brought beauty and grace to every place she went and shared her wonderful esthetic through her work in mosaics, floral design and home décor, not to mention her love of fashion. She loved good music, beautiful surroundings, the beach and her beloved Weimaraner pets Oliver and Beau who were undoubtedly waiting for her at the end of the Rainbow Bridge when she crossed over.

Dana’s family and friends will honor her life when it is safe for us to gather again. If you feel led to do so, please consider a memorial contribution to Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or your local pet rescue or shelter in Dana’s memory.
