Clifford Merritt Rudy

June 10, 1947 - June 12, 2018

Major Clifford Merritt Rudy, (USAF Ret.), passed away on June 12, 2018. He had celebrated his 71st birthday on June 10.
Cliff was the oldest son of the late CWO Bonnas Ulysses Rudy, (USAF Ret.) and the late Charlotte Merritt Rudy, a nurse. He is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Linda Jane; sons Scott and Gregory Rudy; daughter Kristina Rudy; three brothers Michael (Maria), Dr. Patrick and Maj. Jay Rudy (USAF Ret.); one sister SMSGT Carol Metheney (USAF Ret.) (Eric); seven nieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Brentwood United Methodist Church on Thursday, June 21 with visitation from 10-11 am, service at 11, followed by interment of his ashes and the military service in the columbarium at the church.
The family thanks Guardian Hospice for the months of care given at home, especially Markeeta, Melanie, Dana, John and Steve and Alive Hospice and all of the staff at Somerfield Health Center at the Heritage for the wonderful care of Cliff and the care and support given to his family during his final two weeks.
