September 15, 2016. Christopher Bishop Cooper was born on May 31, 1955 in Winter Haven, Florida to Reed Lamar and Nancy Glassgow Cooper. Preceded in death by his Mother, Nancy G. Cooper and his brother Mark L. Cooper. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Wilson Cooper; father, Reed Cooper; sisters, Heidi (Bill) Breitenstein and Holly (Michael) Vanderknapp; brother-in-law Jim (Jenny) Wilson; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Chris was a faithful member of Cornerstone Church for several years. He served as an Usher and loved his church family. He was passionate about God, his family and friends and loved spending time with them. He loved riding his motorcycle, summer vacations, enjoyed swimming, and going to car shows. He was a long time employee for the State of Tennessee. He worked in the Governor's Office of Diversity Business Enterprise that is located in the Tennessee Tower. He loved his job because it gave him the opportunity to meet and help people.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Cornerstone Church in Madison, Tennessee. Visitation with the family will be at 1:00 pm prior to the celebration. Donations can be made to Cornerstone Church in his memory.
