Charlotte Ann Hand of Madison, Tennessee

March 15, 1962 - September 26, 2024

Charlotte Ann Hand passed away peacefully on September 26th, 2024.  Charlotte was born in Arlington Virginia on March 15th, 1962, to Donald and Adeline Seay.  Charlotte was the middle of three children and was the life of the party from the day she was born.

Charlotte attended school in Green Isle and Glencoe MN. She was a proud Navy veteran who served onboard the USS Samuel Gompers; one of the first women who served onboard a Navy ship.

During her time in the Navy she met and married Kenny Hand and they had one son, Kenny Hand Jr. who was always her pride and joy.

Charlotte spent her adult life around the Springfield Tennessee area working as a lab tech for a number of years.

Charlotte was a kind, compassionate person who was fiercely loyal to those she loved.  Her love of dogs and cats was well known by all those who knew her.

Charlotte was predeceased by her father Don Seay.  She is survived by her mother Adeline Seay, her brother Donald Seay and Sister Debbie Douget and brother in law Tom.  In addition, she is survived by her son Kenny Hand (Shannon), Shannon’s children Jacob Olive (Shelby), their children Lakelynn, Harper and Levi.  Breonna Creek (Richard) and their children Sofia, Abel and Lucas.   Charlotte’s nephew Ryan  Douget and niece Megan  (Patrick) Lunsford as well as a host of loving friends.

A celebration of Charlotte’s life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer society and any animal shelter of your choice.
