Celestine Torian Ramirez (née Mulhern),eloved daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2024, in Lebanon, TN, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on June 22, 1975, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Celestine Childs(née Rivero) and William Copes Jr.

Celestine, known affectionately as "Celeste," called Shelbyville, TN, her home. She leaves behind a cherished family, including her father William Copes Jr (Mary Jane) of Flintville, TN, and her siblings: William Copes III (Kindra) of Elora, TN, Bobbie Jo Copes of Winchester, TN, Tiffany Copes of Winchester, TN, Nikki Sikorski (Shane Labrie) of Holt, Florida, Tina Copes of Maryville, TN, Wayne Copes (Krista), Barbie Copes, Johnny Copes, all of Philadelphia, and Lisa Amoroso of Cape May, NJ. She was a devoted big sister and aunt to her 14 nieces and nephews, as well as two great-nieces and nephews.

Celeste was a pillar of strength, known for her fiercely independent spirit and her unwavering dedication to her family. Her love and support were constants in the lives of those she held dear. Her final wishes were to be cremated with no service. In accordance with her wishes, her family will hold a private celebration of life for close family members and friends
