Born Catherine (Kay) Aloysis Lane September 30, 1933.  Kay was the daughter of the late John William and Mary Francis Lane of Lincoln, Kansas.

She is survived by her husband Bill R. Burrow, three daughters; Laura and Tom Scott and children Mary Catherine and Charles, Elizabeth and Micheal O’Neill and children Caroline and Emma, Leslie and Terry Edwards and children Trent and Trey.

Kay was born in Lucas, Kansas and then moved to Lincoln, Kansas at the age of 3.  She was the last remaining of nine siblings.  Kay graduated from Wakefield Kansas high school and then North Texas University with a degree in Education. After marriage to Bill in 1954 they moved to Dallas, TX.  Kay taught in three different elementary schools before having their three children. Her love for kids brought to being a leader in Brownie and Girl Scouts. She was a member and president of both the Varied Arts and Resume Clubs in Flower Mound and a past member of Magna Charta, Mayflower Society and DAR and descendent of Rolio 846-931 AD.  She was very active in community betterment affairs which lead to holding the honor of being one of the Top 10 Women of the Year in Flower Mound. Being an advid reader, and her interest in the Flower Mound Library found her President of the Friends of the Flower Mound Library for some ten years and leading the capital campaign of fund raising for the new library building built in 2000.  Kay’s lifetime belief and faith in God was enhanced by her involvement as a member of the Friendship class at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church and her work in several different church religious organizations.

She is now with her Heavenly Father.
