Beverly Ann “Keeon’i" Watson age 50, passed away on April 8th 2025, in Dickson, Tennessee. Born on October 25th, 1974, in Davidson Tennessee, Beverly lived a life marked by passion, adventure, and a deep connection to the things she loved most, her family, friends, horses and the open road. Though she spent some time working in an office as an accountant, Beverly quickly realized that her heart belonged elsewhere. The call of home, and more importantly the call of the horses, was too strong to ignore. She traded in her dress suits and ascots for her jeans and cowgirl boots to return to a life that gave her great joy. From that point forward, Beverly dedicated her time and passion into what became a very fulfilling career for herself. Beverly had a special gift for connecting with animals and people alike. Her days were often spent transporting horses across the country- a role that combined her love for travel with her deep connection to animals. Between trips, Beverly cherished time with those closest to her. Her creativity extended beyond the stables. Beverly enjoyed painting and drawing and had a knack for building rustic home décor pieces that reflected her earthy style and artistic soul. Whether crafting something beautiful or sharing laughter with those around her, she brought warmth and authenticity into every space she entered. Beverly also shared her gifts generously with others. When not on the road, she poured her energy into training horses to perform tricks and generously volunteered countless hours of her time giving riding lessons to children. Her presence was magnetic—her smile contagious and her laughter unforgettable. She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Dorothy Peaden (Hooper) Burkitt; daughters Karley Gallipeau (Jourdan Gallipeau) and Mackenzie Watson (David Gore); granddaughters Alayna Gallipeau, Raelyn Gallipeau, and Emersyn Gallipeau; brothers Bruce Farmer (Kathy Farmer), Scotty Broadway, and Scott Hooper (Ashley Hooper); sister Tammy Burgess; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Beverly was preceded in death by her father Eddie Hooper and grandmother Ruth Peaden. A woman of faith, Beverly passed with Christ Almighty in her heart. Her journey may have taken her far from home at times, but she always remained close in spirit to those who loved her most. Those who knew Beverly will remember her contagious smile and beautiful laughter—gifts that lit up every room she entered. Though taken far too soon, she lived each day with intention and joy, doing what made her happiest. Many spend their lives wishing for such fulfillment; Beverly embraced it fully. Whether near or far on one of her many journeys, she remained close in heart to those who loved her. “You were our Sunshine, you made us happy when skies were grey, we hope you know how much we all loved you.” As we say farewell for now, we take comfort in knowing this is not goodbye—it’s safe travels until we meet again. May her memory bring peace to all who knew and loved her.
