Betty Warren Cook, 77, of Pegram, TN (formerly of Monroe, LA & Mayflower, AR), went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2021.

Betty was born in Lewisville, AR on December 14, 1943.  She graduated from Lewisville High School in 1961.  She met her husband, Ronald, in 1963, and was married on November 20, 1964.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, in 2012; her parents, Peter A. Warren & Pauline A. Warren; and 6 brothers & 5 sisters.

Survivors include her son, James & wife, Hannah, and grandsons, Aden & Sam, of Pegram, TN; son, Ron & wife, Mary, of Bossier City, LA, and grandson, Zach, of Lafayette, LA; and numerous nieces & nephews.

Betty's greatest passion, outside of her relationship with the Lord, was her 3 grandsons.  Nothing was more important to "Mamaw" than the time she spent with them.  Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, confidant, nurturer, and supporter for any of her children or grandchildren's causes.  She also had a great love & passion for music as well.  She will be greatly missed.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Betty's family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Guardian Hospice Care and to Compassion Care for the devotion and kindness provided to Betty in her final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made in Betty's name to the Dementia Society of America or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
