"Bobo", a life-long Nashville native, attended Peabody, Ward-Belmont (now Harpeth Hall) and Vanderbilt University as Salutatorian and member of Tri Delta Sorority. Following graduation, she spent a year in Cannes, France as a Fulbright Scholar. The friends she made in school were life-long chums and like a second family.
Home, family and friends were at the center of her life. She loved to travel, and indulged her passion for local history by serving as docent at local sites such as Studio B, Carter House, Tennessee State Capitol, Carnton and Belle Meade Plantation. She also authored a brief history of Tennessee, two historical plays, and several songs.
There will be a Celebration of Life this Spring at her cherished Radnor Lake. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Friends of Radnor Lake.
